coincidentally, more adventures under a red tent – although at times this felt like a trip to The Dimension of Pain (aaagh! save! save!). next time i have a quick simple idea, please somebody, shoot me.

quite a cheery ghost, endlessly entertained
by the tireless flying dancer
but what if that’s a wicked smile?
poor girl, not a moment’s rest
no escape from the pedestal
and look how circus life has worn away
the levitating acrobats
even the spectator’s feeling faint
