    unbecoming in this context refers to reduction

    it’s unbecom[e]ing what it was, all garish colours and rectangular, too much like a picture
    but then maybe some people liked it better the other way and this version is unbecoming
    though mostly i think hardly anyone saw the original version and the title is ambiguous

    taken personally, the word unbecoming often unnerves, unsettles a person’s psyche

    we have a regular visitor from san jose, do ‘they’ have an opinion?
